The Castle Lager Super Fans rocked out at Inkanyezi Tavern on Sunday, to continue to rally the nation around supporting Bafana Bafana! The vibe from Umlazi Township was fantastic and just goes to show how much support there is for Bafana, from all regions of our beautiful country.
Our boys also came to the party with 4 goals to nil win over Thailand, and they looked in great condition while they did it. Ba-four-na!
The Super Fans where joined by Neil Tovey, SA's African Cup of Nations winning Captain, as well as Clive Barker, former coach of the National Squad. Each of the special guests had some encouraging words for the national team, as well as some words of encouragement for the Super Fans and their country tour to rally the nation.
A fantastic time was had by all, and there is a load more to come!

About Our Super Fans

Castle Lager Superfans began their journey of support with a rigorous selection process. Out of which came the 16 best Superfans, one from each of the PSL sides. These 16 dedicated and unwavering Superfans where then rewarded, for their years of support and vibrant vuvzela blowing, with a trip to watch South Africa take on Germany in an international friendly in Cologne. The journey did not stop there however, our fans have been a big part of Supporting Bafana Bafana at home and away. One of our fans even presented the man of the match award at the South Africa vs. Madagascar friendly international.
The next step on the journey was to broadcast the Superfans to the whole of South Africa and show the nation that Castle Lager is 110% behind Bafana Bafana. The Superfans where involved in a 5 day television commercial shoot and where the main protagonists and showed the other fans the best way to support Bafana Bafana. The television commercial should be flighting mid October.
The Journey of the Castle superfans is only just beginning however, as Bafana will need not only the Superfans, but the whole nation behind it as we move ever closer to the worlds greatest football spectacle. Keep a keen eye out for our superfans at all the Bafana Bafana games, there is still much more to come.
